This pops up when I try opening Minecraft. Is there a subsitute for Modloader. I have already tried re-downloading and it has not worked? I'd like to be able to get this done tonight.

A good substitute for Modloader is Minecraft Forge.
Most mods seem to use it anyway.

I agree that MCForge is the best option, but you may have failed to delete the META-INF file in case you are wondering.
