I'm not sure if textures count as modding, but I put it here anyhow. If I got that wrong, I'm terribly sorry.
I recently purchased Minecraft, made a new skin, and downloaded a texture pack. I deleted the texture pack's char.png per a forum post I read somewhere so that my custom skin would show up instead, but for some reason no matter what I do, Steve shows up now. I've tried everything I can think of to fix it, including switching textures back and re-uploading, but Steve still lives on. I've tried researching this, but I can't seem to find the solution to what I'm sure is a pretty simple problem.
