I finally got around to fixing Minecraft on my computer. I updated to the most recent version, and proceeded to download Forge, Buildcraft, IC2, Forestry and Factorization. All of the mods confirmed they were the latest version, with the exception of Factorization, which had discrepancies between the title and description (1.4.6 vs 1.4.7). I installed them correctly and removed the META-INF file before starting the game. On startup, I received this warning.

I deleted the factorization mod in case that was the issue but I assume it's a Forge issue. Any help would be appreciated. Still figuring out the mods.

You do not have the correct version of Forge. Download the correct version, and it should work.

Got it fixed. The source I was using for Forge apparently wasn't 1.4.7 like it claimed to be. Found the original forum thread and that link worked like a charm. No issues from the 1.4.6 Factorization either.
