Okay, before you tell me to use the feature in the launcher itself, it does nothing for me. You see, recently, I bought 4 more gigs of ram for my laptop to run vanilla minecraft faster. It works great and I saw a huge leap in performance. I used the .bat trick and launched MC with alot of ram. I had no problems doing this. After learning Tekkit is now playable in the newest MC update, I wanted to play it. However, I can't do the same .bat ram trick with Tekkit because it DOESN'T launch in javaw. I believe it doesn't because I run windows 8. I had the same problem with vanilla MC, but I used magic launcher to launch Minecraft in javaw. There is not feature for this on Tekkit. I need more ram because Tekkit is extremely laggy. It runs like Minecraft did BEFORE I added the extra 4 gigs of ram. Can anybody be awesome and help me with this problem? I can't really play Tekkit because it lags like crazy.
