I use MinecraftSP, which is a cracked client, and I need help changing the folder directory.
To explain more:
I have been playing on a school macbook, and they block applications from being installed or game applications from playing. So my friends and I started to "Show Contents" and navigate to the "minecraft.jar" and run it from there.
The problem:
Minecraft and all of its clients are made to place the files for mac under the location:
~/Library/Application Support/minecraft
But my school realized this and they deleted the contents of that folder and locked it so we cant edit it.
I talked to someone on Youtube and he tried to make MinecraftSP portable for me, but every time I try to run it I get the download screen then an error, im assuming because they blocked the folder it needs.
What I need:
I need someone to explain a way I can edit the placement for the folder "minecraft" using MinecraftSP or some other cracked client, preferably .jar file.
If you cant do this, I'd be willing to get a client that has the ability to change locations right in the launcher, its all up to you.
Do not request support for cracked servers and/or cracked clients
We do not support the use of cracked clients or cracked servers, and therefore will not allow people to request technical support for a cracked client/server.
