Last night all the stone blocks in my mines turned to either an animation of a fire block or a nether portal block.. row upon row of alternating fire and nether portal pictures on the stone blocks.. i have forge and optifine but i don't know how to get rid of this.. thank you

Your texture pack, it seems, is not up to date. Have you tried updating your texture pack?

Did you installed optifine or mcpatcher after your texture pack?
