So i'm trying to make my own modpack for personal use and so far I have the mods, Optifine, IC2, buildcraft, Divine RPG, NEI, and Logistic Pipes and of course Minecraft_Forge but for some odd reason after i installed Divine RPG all these problems popped up.
First, I had item id's which i fixed but then when i try to log into my world minecraft won't respond and it goes to the "Minecraft has ran out of Memory!"
Which doesn't make sense because out of the 6 gigs of ram on my laptop i've allocated 4 of them to minecraft. I read somewhere that 2 gigs should be more than enough, than why can't mine run on 4? Some help would be appreciated. I also don't have a texture pack installed either.
EDIT: I've also tried to reinstall java and everything, i just can't seem to make it work.
I've had hard drive space do this to me. Make sure you have plenty available.
Are you using a batch file to launch minecraft? If you are, could you paste the contents?

I've got plenty of hard drive space available. And i'm just using the technic launcher to launch the modpack, wanted to try and use the custom packs feature of the launcher.
OOM's are usually caused by the rest of your system using up more memory then it has left, rather then minecraft using up what you gave it.
You say you gave minecraft 4G leaving only 2G for your OS and any other apps you may have running.
As soon as the rest of your system tries to take more then the 2G left over RAM, java/minecraft will OOM.
I tried allocating less memory too it also, I allocated 2 gigs, then 1534 mb i think 1gig and 512 mb maybe? whatever the lowest options are on the technic launcher. But, I even closed firefox and ran it. Still ran out of memory.

Try allocating less to minecraft. Default <> 2G
