I downloaded Minecraft for my mac (running 10.8.2) and it was running perfectly until I decided to mod it. I copied the "Minecraft folder" into a new folder on my desktop but decided against modding so i deleted the folder and minecraft and redownloaded the whole thing. problem is now after hitting login i am presented with a black screen that does nothing. What did i do?
you simply click options above login when you start minecraft and there's an option to "force update" that will fix everything with the click of a button and follow mod instructions over a video
and then re-download it.
