Hey all.
So I downloaded the .jar mcpatcher and it runs fine. However when i try to run minecraft it lets me go to the login screen but once i try to login to play the game the window just goes black. (Im running ubuntu so i use the java -jar <minecraft.jar file> command from the terminal.) I then get the following error on my open terminal:

Its clear the patcher had something to do with it but i dont know how to fix it. I downloaded the patcher because i wanted to run a HD texture pack. Now i cant even play the game :/
If anyone knows how to resolve this issue ill be forever grateful!

you might want to delete the patcher and re download and try again. If it happens again, you might not want to use the patcher.

It really looks/sounds like you replaced minecraft.jar with mcpatcher.jar..
