I get this error too. In order to fix it, just keep opening Minecraft multiple times. Eventually, it works.
I tried to open it multiple times but the hs error pid notepads keep popping up instead of the launcher. The fact of the matter is that I can't seem to open the Minecraft launcher at all. Everytime I click on the Minecraft icon on my desktop, an hs err pid file appears instead of the launcher. Everytime....

the forge log is in your minecraft folder, it will be called ForgeModLoader-client-0.log or something very similar
