After using mcpatcher, for some reason it always makes my lava really pink and my water extremely clear. This is not a texture pack thing as the lava and water is like this in the default texture pack as well. When I delete my minecraft folder and not use the mcpatcher however, everything is fixed but I cannot use the texture packs I like as they require mcpatcher. I would like to use mcpatcher as I like using the Gerudoku texture pack. Any help is appreciated, I would not like to have to resort to using the default texture pack all the time, sometimes other packs might be required for adventure maps, etc.

Btw, the problem becomes more extreme once I move away/am at an angle to the water or lava.

try using modloader and optifine because optifine has a built in patcher
