This is the first mod I'm trying to do and no matter what I do, it wont work. I either get a black screen or minecraft crashes, so I'm always using forced update to fix things. I am running version 1.4.7 and yes I delete Meta inf. I have no clue what to do, please help.

Hasn't been updated to 1.4.6/7 so it won't work unless you roll back to an older version of minecraft.
