So early today i was trying to install a mod for arrows. I looked up a video on how to install it for mac (because thats what i use). I followed the instructions, but i forgot to delete the META. INF file. i closed out of the minecraft folder (not realizing i forgot to delete the file) and minecraft tried to open, but froze on the updating minecraft page. i closed it, and went to go back to the folder.
i went to library, then application support, but minecraft wasn't there anymore, like it was before. I checked the trash like a million times but nothing was there. i searched minecraft in finder, but was only presented with the actually application, not the folder. I read online that i need to reinstall minecraft, but i dont know how to do that. I need help!

i deleted everything. but when i re-downloaded it, it still becomes frozen at the "updating minecraft" screen.
