Hello. I am in need of some help. My 9-year-old son has been unable to play on his account for about 2 weeks now and this is the only mode of customer service I can locate. He downloaded some mods for the first time just a few weeks ago and one day he logged in and a screen came up stating
Forge Mod Loader has found a problem with your minecraft installation. You have mod sources that are duplicate within your system.
Mod Id: File name
A5_UpdateCheck: UpdateCheckerMod_1.4.7.zip
A5_UpdateCheck: UpdateCheckerMod_1.4.6.zip
This comes up now every time he tries to log on and won't let him log in to play. We have even deleted all Mod files on our computer and it still hasn't changed. Can you help? We have a very sad little boy who wants to play his favorite game and we don't know what else to do.

Force Update his game client by going into the options setting when you launch up the client that should bring it back to it's original form, before he tried to install the mods. As for the mods he tried to install can you tell us what mods he had downloaded so we can further help you out.
Where is the options setting? I don't see it. I don't know if that is because I can't log in far enough before it locks up with the Forge Mod Loader error message before I can get there. I can log him in but that is as far as I can go. I can't launch into the game before the error message. I will have to ask him which mods he loaded when he gets home later. I appreciate your help. Hopefully, we can get this figured out.
