I updated to the Mindcrack v8 pack, but for some reason, my world won't generate AT ALL, and if I go down to v7 or v6, I get chunk errors sooooo often, I have to restart every like... 10 minutes. Does anyone have any idea about that? It's making me sad that I'm unable to play very much. It's making me want to ragequit because after the 3rd world restart or so, my game freezes completely. This didn't start happening until the newest update, and the older versions all seem glitched now. If anyone would be able to help me, I'd VERY much appreciate it. Thank you in advance. I'm running Windows 7 64 Bit, with a 64 bit version of Java. This doesn't happen on Vanilla.
If you don't have the problem using vanilla, you are probably better off taking this problem to the FTB forums.
Their support is more likely to be able to help you with their client/packs.
That said, make sure you are using the latest Java. And that there aren't old java installs left on your system. (Windows remove program feature is a good place to check)
Right, I've determined it's a problem with OptiFine_1.4.6_HD_U_A3, so what do I do? I REALLY want to use Optifine because it makes my world generate/load faster, gives me a HUGE fps increase, and everything. Is there a way I can get this working with Feed The Beast?
I have done that. My world just won't load : / I've updated my Optifine as well to the most recent versions as well, and have tried both the

and
OptiFine_1.4.6_HD_B6
The world just WILL NOT load with it, or has a load of chunk errors.
My texture pack as well is the Sphax BDcraft HD texture pack, x64 version.
Could be a conflict with light_loader then, try asking about it on the FTB forums, like I said in the first post, they'll have more insight into problems that arise with their mod packs.

You just need to edit the pack, and add it to the jar mods tab.
