Alright, I was thinking about downloading Minecraft to my Macbook Pro. Does it take a lot of space or ram? or does it play slow at all?
I have an 8GB Hard drive (Can't find how much ram or where it's located in the system pref.)
I'm just curious cause my friend wanted me to get it and download Tekkit for it and wanted to know if any Mac users have done this and if it took a lot of space or slowed their laptop?
I used my computer for School and stuff and I hate slow computers. So I didn't want it taking to much space or casing problems. Just need something to do when I'm bored.
You probably have 8GB of ram, not an 8GB harddrive.
It should run well, and it won't really effect your computer when you're not using it.
I would recommend not using tekkit though, you should play normal minecraft first.
Alright, I wasn't sure. I just hate when I have crap that slows down my computer like that. I mean I figured it would work fine cause my cousin plays Sims on their mac and everyone knows that game will destroy you computer half the time and their's is still fast running.
are you recommending me not to use tekkit because it sucks or complicated? (Just Clarifying) Cause I have played Minecraft on the computer and Xbox. I was just wondering about the Tekkit or adding other plug in for different themes I heard of.
