So today I decided to enchant a book to put it on my mining pick. When I stuck the book into the enchanting table, I hit one of the enchants and it put it on the book, but I could not see the book. I'm going to try to make this as simple to understand as possible.
I stick the book in the enchanting table slot. Click the enchant I want. And then the book in the enchanting table slot disappears as if nothing was in it. If I mouse over the slot it says the book and the enchant on it, but no picture. I cannot pick up the book and put it in my inventory or anything. Not to mention, if I close out of the enchanting table, the enchant is gone, not able to see it again, not even if you mouse over the slot.
Any help would be nice for I really want to add another enchant to my pick!

P.P.S The texture pack I use is FaithfulVenom, and I do use the Minecraft patcher.
