No if it was my graphics the problematic frame would say nvidia (I think it's java) and I keep up to date with drivers since my last build. I got lazy and didn't and had constant BSODs so yeah never again.
Ya, with jvm.dll as the problematic frame and also the only thing in the stack it shouldn't have anything to do with the graphics drivers.
But it can be hard to track down. Atleast for me who doesn't understand most of those java error logs, and just knows a few things to look at in them.
I would start by uninstalling java through the windows remove programs feature. (Remove them all if you have more then one)
Then reinstall from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
If you still get the same error with a fresh Java install I would run Memtest86+
You need to burn the download to a CD and then have your computer boot from the disk. Follow the prompts and run a full test.
Be warned it can take a long time depending on the amount of memory you have. I canceled it on my machine after 6 hours and it was only about 56% done with 16G of memory (it had also found something like 50,000 errors..) My memory turned out to be the problem when I was getting this error. I had a bad chip I needed to RMA.
Memtest download: http://www.memtest.org/
There are other possibilities also.
May sound strange but for some it turned out to be a set of headphones or game controller they had plugged in.
Wish I could remember the brand of headphones, but it's popped up 3 times that I can recall with the same brand.
I actually just fixed my RAM timings as I was having memory leaks when trying to play anything but that was my fault I should've done that when i set it up. I just reinstalled windows on the 31st beceause of new SSD. I already uninstalled and reinstalled I removed 32bit java (I had both). I already went through basic troubleshooting and I can understand very little when it comes to reading code like that but enough to know it's not my hardware.
Here's the latest crash:
I have the crash report before this one as well if that needs a lookover. Any help appreciated.
