Okay now the problem. I just updated to 1.4.7 vanilla today (yes I delete and reinstall minecraft,yes mods too,every minecraft update.) After I installed everything and began playing I noticed that when I chopped a tree at the base instead of "falling" like it should have only the base block disappeared but the block was worth 9 and if I chop the rest of the tree down I don't get anything. I found this strange but kept playing anyway thinking "I'll fix this later it's no big deal right?" WRONG. It happens with EVERY tree no matter the size and I always get a 9 block yeild even from a jungle tree. That's only part of the problem tho it does the SAME EXACT thing with sand, gravel, and sugar. It seems to only happen to things affected by gravity (since I'm using timber I consider trees affected too) I haven't tried a cactus yet, however I don't feel thats necessary. Before you ask no I haven't gone and removed the mods one by one thats just tedious and ridiculous. This is my first go with backpacks, inv tweaks, and furniture mod but I'm sure they are all compatible as I checked magic launcher (I DO NOT use ML for mods only to check compatibility. everything is manually installed.) Any advice is welcome just plz dnt do dis nd spel rong intentionally you have a full keyboard use it.
I always use timber and no I'm not sneaking when I chop. I don't think its timber beacause I'm using the same version as I did for 1.4.6 since there was no update and I didn't encounter this untill today. ps. I havent played since the 3rd

So I started fresh with vanilla again doing the same thing as before however I didn't install inv tweaks this time and now instead of 9 blocks as before it's whatever the amount of tree is minus 1 (I can see the block glitch through which is what made me notice). As for the tree not "falling" it does now but only if I'm moving while chopping. I also can't get anything when sneaking. It's supposed to remove just that one block if you don't want to knock down the rest for those who don't already know. I haven't gone and checked the sugar or sand to see if they got fixed but I'm sure they will once this is resolved.
