I've been having a really weird problem in Tekkit recently. Every time I do something exciting in the game, the program just crashes. No error report, no saving, window just goes away as if I ended the process. It's happened when I got blown up by a creeper from behind, turned around to see a spider ambushing me, and placed a redstone torch next to a nuke. It's also never happened otherwise. What the heck is going on? Also, does anybody know how to stop GPU idling in Tekkit? 30 FPS on Far sucks.
i5 4670k @ 4.9GHz - Stock Heatsink - The rest is melted silicon but I think I have a graphics card in there somewhere It surprises me how many people on this forum can't read benchmarks.
As others have suggested, try playing FTB. Just take your tekkit world and drop it in the FTB worlds folder. It should copy everything from your world, except you will lose all your EE2 stuff.
firstly, you may want to update your tekkit. secondly, you should post this on the technic forums, you will likely get more solutions to fix your tekkit. also, this is things that are not minecraft. you should post it on the modded client support forum, if you want to post it here on the minecraft forums.
