Are you currently using Java 7? Also, which FTB modpack are you using?
Do you mean when you start the launcher itself, or when you launch the game?
It was when the Mojang screen came up, but Ive already managed to go back to the 2.5 version of the modpack, which cleared the issues and apparently had all the mods working. I was kinda upset on that, but that's a tale for a different section of the forums.
