I have a laptop with an i5-3210m and AMD 7670m. The laptop is configured to switch to the dedicated GPU automatically. However, when I play Technic, the FPS is only around 25, on par with what I've seen with the HD4000 that comes with the i5. Even with Optifine, the FPS doesn't go above 30. I've tried going into the Catalyst menu to change java.exe into high performance mode. I even changed javaw.exe just for good measure. As far as I know, the BIOS doesn't have an option for manual switching of the GPU. I'm on a Sony VAIO E series 14". Got any suggestions?

Turns out I accidentally left the power settings on Power Saver. Thanks for your response though!
