modloader 1.4.7 help please

I just tried to install modloader 1.4.7 i deleted the META-INF and when i opened minecraft it updated its self. Now when i try and open the minecraft script from the .bin it says there has been a java script exception... is there another program i can use that is less of a headache? or am i using the outdated version please help me

Try using magic launcher.

everytime i try and open the minecraft file now it says a java exception has occurred. what did i do now? o0

i just used magic launcher thank you guys so much for the help, im reading threw the forum now to see how to download and activate each mod
