I have currently installed MCPatcher, Too Many Items, REI's Minimap, Tale of Kingdoms (although I haven't gotten it to work yet), and ModLoader. The only mod I had installed when I was playing these worlds was Too Many Items. I tried to install the other mods through MCPatcher and it told me to delete my minecraft.jar and minecraft-1.4.7.jar files to install the mods through MCPatcher. This is what led to all of the issues. I had Too Many Items installed by deleting the META.INF file I think is what it's called and I deleted the Too Many Items mod in the minecraft.jar file without replacing it with the META.INF one again to try and install the mod through MCPatcher. I think that is where the whole problem started. I have a new HP computer with a 64 bit if that helps. Any help would be appreciated.
Looks like you got yourself in quite the pickle judging my your second post. n__n;
From what I understand, MC Patcher doesn't work with ModLoader.
I'm guessing you have a backup Minecraft.jar right? Get rid of all the mods, and try a fresh jar. If it works, try adding mod loader and then try again. If it still works, then you're crystal clear and you just can't use MC Patcher.
Assuming you have MC Patcher for your texture pack, I highly suggest you get Optifine instead of MC Patcher.
Should I just delete my current minecraft.jar and minecraft-1.4.7.jar and let the launcher download new ones? But the only question is how would I get my saves back from my original one?
