• 4GB Memory
• Intel HD Graphics Card (must be pretty bad because I have the black chest and sign glitch)

I've been trying to download Pixelmon 1.9 but I've been having a few problems.

I was able to successfully download Pixelmon 1.9 (compatible with 1.4.7) and get that into the correct folder. When I start my Magic Launcher and go to Setup it shows up in the External Mods section. However, under the status row I get the message no Forge.

I downloaded Forge 6.5.0.489 as specified in the directions in the link on the Pixelmon thread. I go to my Desktop > Start > Search: %appdata% > Roaming > .minecraft > bin. Now I'm in the bin folder and I right click Minecraft with the type: Executable Jar File. Then I go to Open with > Winrar. When I click on Winrar I get a message telling me that my Winrar trial has expired and that I need to buy Winrar. I closed the message and proceeded to right click > select all and drag the files back to the bin folder and everything transfered into the bin folder. Unfortunately the mod does not work.

Do I need to buy Winrar? If yes, is there anyway that I can legally download a free version that does the same thing?

I downloaded the latest version of forge but now I'm having a different problem. When I put the newest version of Forge into the Minecraft.jar file I get a message that tells me that it can't be copied into Minecraft.jar because the files are being used in a different program. However, the only things that I have open are my Minecraft.jar file and the latest version of Forge. Any clue as to what that means? Thanks.

a simpliest thing that wil solve this problem is just reboot. Otherwise you have to close every program working with minecraft.jar and close minecraft too before copying.

The reason it says that is because you probably have the minecraft window open in the background. try closing it before you mod the Jar.
