I don't know if this thread belongs here but I don't really know how to download mods...
The last mod I downloaded Messed up my game. It wasn't a bad mod it was just I didn't do it right and messed up.
So can anyone give me an easy or simple way to download mods? Because I love some mod ideas and just want to make my Minecraft a lot more interesting!

A lot of mods request you download a certain thing called Mod Loader, and I can't find an official download for it...

Give a few examples. If you aren't on Minecraftforum.net, it might be just an ad website

as the url implies list of mod.... granted it is not as frequently updated then it used to, but we all have lives.

Edit: ah you misread, maybe i should have put "mod hunter" in one word. I mean in one hunting for mods.

Ummmm.... I kinda have a little problem.... I downloaded a mod and did (and downloaded) everything it asked but it doesn't pop up in my game....
Do you have to make a folder for it? Because a lot of people say put it in the mod loader folder but I don't have one... How do you get it?

here, try using this to install mods: http://www.minecraft...dows-linux-mac/ It is a launcher called multimc, and makes installing mods very simple, a few notes on it, jar mods would be ones that change how inner files work like forge or modloader(and mostly everything that you get told to put in jar) mods go in mods, i don't really use coremods folder.... oh, and there is a downgrade feature, use that for when you want to play... say a 1.3.2 mod, that little thing will change that minecraft instance to 1.3.2.

Edit: realized that multimc was already mentioned, just use this for referenceing some features then
