I can get on a world perfectly fine, walk around and all, but when I open my inventory or press the escape button Minecraft crashes. Anybody know how to fix it?
This is what I get:

Don't extract the minecraft.jar when adding mods.
Just open it with winrar or 7zip, drag the mod files into the open window. Then close after adding the mod files.
Windows deletes one of the files (aux.class) when you extract it, it's a forbidden file name in windows.
