Mobs are not visiable

I just downloaded the newest Minecraft forge (6.5) so I could use the twilight forest mod the only issue is My mobs no longer are visible but can still be heard. This has happened both times I have tried to do this. Can someone explain to me why this is happening?

are you sure you applied the mod correctly?
are you using and texture packs?

If you are using an outdated texture pack, the updated textures will conflict making things appear different

I am 100% sure that I did apply the mod correctly and my texture pack is for 1.4.5. and the texture pack is spahx pure bd craft
