Can't find minecraft folder to add mod help?

i'm trying to add a mod but i can't find the minecraft folder is there somthing i have to do to find it i got to the roaming folder and its not there

ps- sorry if this is in the wrong spot i wasn't sure where it would go

You have to show hidden files. ~~I think on windows it is right click and select show hidden files, not sure though.~~Go to this link: here
