Ok, Imma give you all the info you need so that an answer to my problem may be said straight up in one comment, as I may not be able to reply to any comments immediately.
I use a Radeon HD 7770 1GB Graphics Card, the drivers are fully updated. I try installing the GLSL Shader of mod with or without optifine, mc patcher, magic launcher, all that jazz, every single way to install it possible (especially the ways explained on the mod forum page, several times) and everything works fine. Except for one annoying feature which ruins the whole idea of the waving textures. The GLSL Shaders of mod comes with a little test.zip folder to see if the shaders are working. They work fine, there's just that weird black outline. Sonic ethers unbelievable shaders does this too. To make it easier to explains, every single block in minecraft that has transparency, the transparency is replaced with solid black. It sucks... Here's a picture:
Well, I hope there's a solution for this. There's a video here
that shows how the shaders work with the graphics card, and as you can see I have the same problem this guy had. There is an annotation on the video explaining that he fixed the problem, to which I believe by installing optifine, even though it doesn't state so, and it doesn't work for me. Anyone got any ideas?
What version of java are you using?
Maybe it's a setting in CCC that you adjusted. Try restoring defaults for your display.
I'd like to see a video of your setup process. Do the full install, from fresh jar to playing on cam. Including downloading, editing etc.
I've got a 6850 and have no issues with outlines, I'll have a 7850 later this week. Shipments do on Wednesday. So by thursday I'd know if maybe it's something with the 7000 series.
