So I got this awesome computer for Christmas. It can run like any game. I was playing MineCraft and it worked fine with 100+ fps constant. Now as of today, I can't start MineCraft. Java comes up with this error: This application requires a java runtime 1.5.0 environment. And if i click OK then I go to java.com to download the latest Java. I've installed Java twice, and removed it before reinstalling. I uninstalled it through control panel>add and remove programs. Please help with this. Other people have been getting this error due to my research, not I cannot find a solution. Any comments at all would be GREATLY appreciated.
Hey I re-re-re installed Java from Softasonic (or something) and this problem is fixed. Just google the error, it is one of the first results. I hope I helped someone who had this same problem.
