HELP. i want to get the tale of kingdoms mod, but reading the steps, i have no idea of what to do. i have windows 7 and V 1.4.6 minecraft. if someone could give me an in depth explanation, that would be helpful.

1. Open the folder in your user folder appdata. You can find it by searching for %appdata%. Then open the folders roaming and then .minecraft and bin.
2. Open the minecraft.jar with a program like WinRAR or Bitzipper.
3 delete the folder Meta inf in the minecraft.jar
4.extract the files of the modloader file and put them in the minecraft.jar (with the program)
5.test minecraft
6. put the mod folder in appdata/roaming/.minecraft/mods

im sorry i don't know this stuff, but what is winrar and bitzipper, and will they automatically open minecraft.jar for me? and what does that mean " extract the files of the modloader file and put them in the minecraft.jar?" does that mean everything in modloader? i think i might need a few more details, im not very good with downloading stuff.

you can open the minecraft.jar with these programs so download and install one of these first (WinRAR is free).
With this programs you can put files in the minecraft.jar and you can extract .zip files
