It pains me to write this, because usually whenever I ask for help on minecraft forums, all I get is the same answer I've heard before and I never get real help. However, please bear with me.
For the last 3 versions [1.4.4/.5/.6] every time I try to install Forge, it ends up downloading the libraries it needs to run, and then I get a blackscreen w/o a crash log. However, after I ran Minecraft.exe (I shortcut'ed the .jar for some reason, don't quite remember as this was a long time ago.), it finally spat out a crash report.
And of course, I can't understand it.

I have installed Optifine (which is basically the same method of installation, drag/replace) so I don't suppose it's something wrong I'm doing.
Just to eliminate the obvious, YES, I HAVE deleted the meta-inf folder before copying the forge files and I did not
delete it after copying over the forge files. In any case, with or without the forge meta-inf I get the same result.
I've used the Advanced Minecraft error test which spat out my specs but, like another .bat file I ran ( when cmd says java is not a recognizable command or something ), it said issues detected with ajva and it ended the script.
I would also like to add that I have a 64 bit system, which for some reason the AMET reads as 32...
Also, I have had this problem on both my laptop and my pc, which are both x64.

Hi there!
I promise i will try my best to help you.
It appears as though it can't find minecraft. I know you've said you've done this, but can you try and update java for me?

Actually I removed all the java's I had except for the x64 version, because whenever I installed any other java it would put my ram at 247 instead of 500-something.
