So, when playing on a privately hosted I am experiencing large amounts of block lag.
It behaves like a bad connection, however my internet is working fine. (Browsers, pandora, Guildwars2, and teamspeak 3, all work fine with no connection issues or lag)
Chests and interfaces take forever to open, I can swing at a cow for almost a 60 seconds before it falls over dead.
The game behaves like my internet connection is bad, however it's not;
Any insight to the issue or how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated.
PS: Should also note, I am the only one having the issue on the server, so it's not the host.
Lag like that is the result of the computer hosting the server, be it a bad computer or many servers sunning at once. If the server is home hosted, than the bad computer would be the issue.
Do you know how its hosted?
I am having I think the same issue if not similar. In single player the game works fine, however when I join a public server it takes 10 seconds for me to break a block or type a command in chat or open a chest. No one else on the server is having this issue, and the server host is clanwarz.
