i really like steelfeathers work in "Steelfeather's Enchanted Pack". I red you needed to patch and so i downloaded it. I have Rei's Minimap. MC patch requested me to force update the game and install the mods within MC patch. i Patched the game and added "Rei's Minimap 1.4.6 .zip into the mix (along with the better glass, better grass, etc choices) i checked rei's minimap and patched my game. i went into my saved world (it is in a ice plain\snow biome). the only change i saw was there were snow blocks with snow on them, instead of dirt blocks with a layer of snow on them. Rei's Minimap didn't work and the game seemed slow. Just from reading this you might think i am overly obsessed with the handy minimap mod, but i would prefer the map over a few tweeked graphics and a texture pack. If i patch the game, will my 16x16 texture packs work? Do i need to patch my game every time i want to play? I am new at posting, so i hope i put this thread in the right category.

Hmmm.... I dont suppose you have a crash report. It sounds like you patched the minimap wrong. The snow thing is a part of better grass from mcpatcher, so that worked.
minecraft worked absolutely fine. it was a bit laggy. Would Optifine (hope i spelled that right) work as well? i must have loaded it wrong. Thanks for the answer and the time!
