Ok so when i patched to 1.4.6 i downloaded and tried to re-install my mods (OptiFine and Rei's Map) With MCPatch, and manually as well ( what i did first ). And Either method i tried failed, and i get the black-screen of doom on minecraft. Before u say " oh i didn't delete META-INF " I did so lets skip that issue.
If anyone else is having the same issue plz let me know i think 1 or more of the mods is conflicting since update.
well when i d/l reis map(from the d/l site) it actually d/l's 1.4.5 version, and there is no crash report it just doesn't work. lol
Unless there like some super secret 1.4.6 version im missing from google or the d/l's page.
Make sure you are getting your mods from the forums here. The mod authors are the ones who maintain the threads.
If you get your mods from 3rd party sites, many times they are not up to date, and include poor instructions.
If anyone else is having the same issue plz let me know i think 1 or more of the mods is conflicting since update.
