I wanted to start first by saying thanks for looking into this issue for me, I rarely get a black screen because I use Magic Launcher for all my mods, the mods I currently use is the latest Minecraft Forge, latest optifine, and rei's minimap. No problems with these at all. Here is a list of things I have tried to fix the black screen prior to applying oblivioncraft to resources.

-Force updated minecraft

-replaced minecraft's amx.class file with Sound Mob Enabler's amx.class file

-replaced minecraft's resource folder with oblivioncraft's resource folder

Other then that I'm not precisely sure on what I did wrong, perhaps my firewall provoked me from gaining access to additional files needed for the sound pack itself to work? I researched this issue on google and found a similar issue with an individual that mentioned minecraft's resource folder is 403 files, when i downloaded oblivioncraft and imported it to replace the resource folder it said it was 299 files... Anyway this is all the information I have, I greatly appreciate your time and effort, This is my first "help" post so bare with me lol, again thanks. On a side note, Minecraft 1.4.6 unmodded .jar runs fine.

ahhh ok duh audio mod has not been updated to 1.4.6.... without it the .ogg files are renderless oh well i guess i'll have to wait, but in the meantime do you know of any audio replacement mods that are currently up to date that I do not know of?

wow did'nt need audio mod, did some experimenting with the extensions, apparently i got some of them mixed up : ( solved.
