Lately, my minecraft runs extremely slow and it is nearly impossible to load a single-player world. It freezes up and 1 of 3 things happens:
1-The game crashes
2-The land doesn't load and I fall forever
3-The screen freezes at the loading terrain screen

The only mod I have is optifine. How do I fix this?


Edir: I updated to the new version of minecraft with fireworks (which gets rid of optifine) and it is running really fast and much better. It must have been an optifine issue.
