Every single mod I have ever tried to download has not worked. Not a one. Everything anyone has told me so far has failed. Honestly I need a decent walkthrough or someone to explain it right for once. Nothing has worked so far. I do the steps yet nothing works. This is what Im "supposed" to do...
Save the mod to AppData file Roaming .minecraft
I go into bin and go to the minecraft folder
and im supposed to save the mod to that
delete the META.INF Folder
So far that isn't working like at all
Help Please!
I have a Toshiba Windows 64 bit
And I do have WinRAR
Links to the correct mods would also be helpful.
Preferred mods for Minecraft 1.4.5
TooManyItems
The Aether
Mine and Blade: Battlegear
Mo' Creatures
Herobrine
Thanks!

there isn't a minecraft.jar folder, its a file.
you open the file with winrar or 7zip and drag/drop the files into the file that way, do not extract the .jar with winrar and rezip it
OK so I got everything to do as the guide said.
I opened minecraft.jar with WinRAR and dragged the extracted mod stuff to it and now everytime I try and open my inventory...minecraft crashes HELP AGAIN PLEASE

What mods are you using? And you're making yourself sound really immature.
I tend to get angry after spending two days just trying to get minecraft back up after incorrectly installing one mod
The mods I 'have' are
Dzharks Mo' Creatures Mod
TooManyItems
And I tried Amnesia as well as the most recent Christmas one
The way I install mods is I put all of the mods into a folder and extract them
Then I open %appdata% and go to roaming
then to .minecraft and open the executable minecraft jar file with winRAR archiver
then I open the folder I put the mods into an drag them into the file and delete the META-INF folder
Open minecraft and nothing is working
So there you have it.

After you install forge, most mods shouldn't be put into the minecraft.jar. Those mods could be overwriting files needed by forge and other mods. This is one reason why NEI is a better option then TMI when using forge.
Also. Forge has a META-INF folder that is needed.
So you need to delete the meta-inf folder BEFORE installing forge, and then leave the one that is part of forge alone.
Again, I go to my previous statement that you should use MultiMC. All you do is drag and drop the files on to the appropriate tab, jar, core mods, or mods, based on the mods install instructions. No worrying about deleting anything, it does all that for you.
There are a few videos in the multiMC thread that explain it's use.
Awesome I forgot about those. Plus everytime I try and install modloader I get this thing called mplayer or opium something so I quit it. Do I need that mplayer thing?
