I have the newest version of TooManyItems downloaded, but I don't know how to install it. My boyfriend always does it, but he's asleep & I don't want to wake him up. I know how to install Snapshots- AppData, Roaming, .minecraft, bin. But I searched for where the TMI version I had before & I can't find it. Can someone please tell me how? It's Vista if that matters btw (ugh, I know)

I blame Minecraft for the letters on my W, A, S, & D keys being completely gone.
normally a mod thread will have an installation guide for you, but i can see TMI doesn't have one
(by the way i would recommend you try out NEI (not enought items))
the basic method to install a mod is
download the mod and api (forge or modloader depending on the mods needs)
unzip the mod and api files to a folder on desktop (if zipped)
find the minecraft.jar (windows = %appdata%/roaming/.minecraft/bin )
use winrar to open minecraft.jar (do not unzip it, just open it)
delete the meta-inf folder
drag and drop the files from the mod folder on your desktop into the winrar window to insert into minecraft.jar
