First of all I'm sorry if this thread is in the wrong category, I'm new and not sure really where to put it.
I've downloaded REI's minimap and modloader already, but I can't seem to download any more mods. When I try to download a mod, I go to open my minecraft.jar with WinRar, but there's nothing. Usually when I right click it, it says "open with" and then "WinRAR", but it doesn't do that! I'm dying for a few mods, and I can't download any of them. Is there a way to fix this without removing REI's minimap and all of its waypoints? Someone please help!

Wouldn't recommend doing this now, though since the server is down.
