FTB "out of memory" errors

I am using FTB modpack Beta Pack A, game goes well for several minutes, then randomly freezes with the out of memory error. I have not changed anything with the modpack/loader,
windows Vista (32 bit), latest java, no error reports abaliable.

just got the pack a few hourse ago from the time of posting, would really appreciate getting this thing fixed soon.
