I downgraded to minecraft 1.2.5 and it is 100% fresh and clean,totally unmodified, I decided to install modloader so I can install the spider queen mod which is for 1.2.5 and that is why I downgraded.
I opened minecraft, after I type my username and password the screen turns black and stays like that until I close it! No error reports at all.
I did the following:
1. Opened run and typed: %appdata%/.minecraft.
3. Opened the bin folder.
4. Opened minecraft.jar
5. Deleted meta-inf.
6. Copied/dragged all the modlaoder files to minecraft.jar
7. Closed everything.
8. Opened minecraft like I normally do.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Modloader used to work on 1.2.5 before but it no longer does though I am using the same downgrading way and the same modloader files that are for 1.2.5, I tried it with and without adding other mods!
I did the EXACT same thing, i downgraded to 1.2.5 to get zeppelin mod, i download the 1.2.5 version of modloader and download it normally, and look what happens. BLACK SCREEN I also deleted META-INF as I downloaded modloader I really wanna play Zeppelin Mod
