I have been getting this error every time I try to open Minecraft. Minecraft starts up, I press Login, it goes black and then closes itself. I have looked up this issue and the "solutions" that have been posted, but nothing is working. This is what I've tried doing so far:
- uninstalled all instances of Java
- reinstalled latest Java
- removed .minecraft folder
- redownloaded minecraft.exe from Minecraft.net
- started fresh with new .minecraft files (no mods or anything installed)
- downloaded latest lwjgl files and replaced old ones
- updated my graphics driver
- checked to make sure that triple buffering was off in ATI Catalyst Control Center
- Also, I do not use MultiMC. I use McPatcher, but it's not working even without that.
