hi first of all im new here so i may make a few mistakes here
but i have been playing minecraft for a few months now
im not shure if this belongs here or in the mods section
im trying to install the tropicraft mod but when i install it and modloader the game gets stuck on "done loading" and if i do get past it i get a black screen
am i doing something wrong?
can anybody help me?
or better yet could someone post a link to a download mirror of tropicraft already installed the the minecraft jar?

before you install any other mods wait till the 1.5 update and you wont have to download any modloader and all that crap,ill take a look at the mod and see whats wrong with it i had that problem with the commandblock one so i had to uninstall minecraft and reinstall but before you do that go to http://minecraft.net/ and click play in browser and if it dosent let you play uninstall minecraft and re-install it
Well I can't say for sure, but one VERY common reason for this is people forget to delete the META-INF folder inside of the jar after installing the mod.
Also, if you've added and removed several mods, wouldn't hurt to have a clean install of the game. I know mod loader is supposed to kind of handle that, but it's not perfect.

am i suposto be useing api insteed of modloader?
I wonder if you'd have an easier time installing mods using MultiMC. I'm a computer idiot getting mods for my son and it works so much easier than doing it manually.

hay good news i got tropicraft to work saidly i could olny get V 1.3.2 minecraft to work but hay im sittin in paridise now
