I made a new world on my new computer and it generated slowly, I went through the void then it finally loaded and i got stuck in grass. I have optifine, it still does it now. What do i do? This gets really annoying.
-MaxxI also have a gaming computer with a I5 3.4ghz and a GTX 660 2gb and minecraft runs on vsync at 60 fps
Couple of ideas not sure if it will help
Do you have 64bit java? 32bit java caps ram at 1gb if i remember right.
Try setting java.exe or javaw.exe as a higher priority in task manager that way more resources are used to boost performance of minecraft.

If you have Optifine when this happens then it is Optifine itself, it is a known issue.
