Hello, its my first post here, sorry if it's in the wrong section!
I bought a Ghz edition HD 7870 MSI Extreme Overclockable Hawk Series Graphics card a couple days ago. I played minecraft and got a decent 140 fps average on my server with default texture pack. Later I decided to try a 128x128 resolution texture pack and got around 100 fps or close to the same thing. Then I tried a 256 x 256 texture pack, and I Suddenly got around 200+ fps at times and stayed above 100. I am using Optifine standard.
I have....
3gb DDR2 Ram
Intel Core 2 duo 3ghz processor
Ghz edition HD 7870 MSI Extreme Overclockable Hawk Series Graphics card
That's not logical is it? Anyone have any clue why I would have such results with different resolutions?
