1.4.4 Forge mods.. Freezes on mojang logo.. Error message attached

So ive been playing minecraft for a few months now and i wanted to try using some mods now after two days of youtube videos trial and error im ed and lost all my saves cause i didnt back it up lol. I had TMI and a mini map loaded and working. then my dumbass went hmm i wonder if theres mods for mod creatures and villagers. so i tied installing mod loader and Millenaire and ed it up so ive watched many videos and saved carefully
i now have 1.4.4 installed I have the 6.0.3 forge thats paired with modloader
I can open minecraft and play it was all from clean loads
but i cannot figure out where to put new mods for them to work.
I add anything new anywhere and minecraft freezes on the mojang logo..
I really just want a few mods to extend minecraft.
Ones I want and cant get to work:
-REi's mini map
-TMI
-Extrabiomes
-a recipie book
-millenaire

and maybe a few like useful food, hostile drops, and backpacks

O and i run MAC so theres that lol
I know how to access everything and have deleted the META file
I just cant add anything and i dont know why

O just got and error messege when i put usefull food in the mods folder

as long as the mods are all updated to minecraft 1.4.4 and are compatible with forge, drag and drop the mod .zip's into the mods folder in the .minecraft folder.

i got 1.4.4 and it installed the forge.. but now if i try and add any forgemods it freezes or gives me error messages, Ive tried multiple mods in multiple ways..?
