OK, I'm stumped. After I updated to Minecraft 1.4.2, I installed Forge for one of the updated mods. When I did that, a few times it wold crash and give me an error message. Then another time I reinstalled on a fresh jar, and I got a black screen. Then yesterday, I tried to reinstall again and it would say "Downloading Minecraft" and at the bottom it said "Done Loading" but it would be stuck at that. When it did that I used a different version of Forge too. Please help! What do I do?

Download this version: files.minecraftforge.net/minecraftforge-universal-6.0.1.332.zip
Just copy all the files into minecraft.jar and delete any 'META-INF' that stay here.

but my minecraft say "minecraft validated lauching..." and turns into a black screen if you can help me i thank you

well now that there is a new version the problem maybe is fixed
