Hello! I recently got back into Minecraft and am trying to get my mods re installed I used to use MCPatcher, for its easy use of installing and uninstalling mods. But sadly, it only works with few mods like too many items. To install mods like TMI, you need to dump all the files straight into the minecraft.jar folder. When i dump multiple mods in there, sometimes i mess something up and have to delete my Minecraft folder to restart. Is there a way i can install the mods i want (Unlike with MCPatcher) and still be able to separate them encase i need to take one out from a mistake?
Certain mods don't use the auto id resolver that Forge provides though.
There is no way to install mods without id conflicts unless the author has already taken that into account. I've heard of auto id resolvers, so maybe you can give that a shot.
